Our low-risk pilot process will provide quick insights into the feasibility of AI vision for your use case.
Identify the specific pilot project scope and objectives
Depending on your application or project, you may only need to record video for a few days before starting to train the camera.
Install camera(s) and AI hardware (or leverage existing cameras)
If you are using our self-cleaning cameras: Just plug the camera into an Ethernet port. It will automatically connect to the network and be ready to use.
If you are using your own cameras: You will need to connect our Edge AI Device to a network that can access your camera. This device acts as a bridge between your camera and our AI software. Once the Edge AI Device is connected to your network, you can access its web portal to complete the setup process.
Extract Data and Images & Annotate the Data
Using the web portal, you can easily annotate images. With our user-friendly software, you are able to annotate up to 1000 pictures an hour, meaning the whole process can be completed in a single day.
Train the Initial AI Model and Deploy It Live
Connect to the Canopy cloud or use an On-Premise Training server to train a model with the annotated images. With a typical model, it takes just 8 hours to train.
Review Performance and Repeat Steps 3 and 4
Once model training is complete, the model can be deployed onto the camera (or Edge AI Device). You should now start seeing AI predictions on the live stream in real time. Not feeling that the model is accurate enough? Simply repeat steps 3 and 4.
