Harry graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He worked as an engineer, production supervisor, and area coordinator in the fertilizer industry for about 5 years before founding Monomer Software. His hobbies include building robot arms and fishing in Tampa Bay.
Matt first began programming computers at age 12. From 2008-2012 Matt served in the United States Marine Corps. In 2015 Matt graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Applied Mathematics. Before joining Monomer Software in 2019, Matt worked as an analyst in the insurance industry.
Robert “Bobby” Bland has his B.S. in Computer Science and M.S. in Machine Learning, both from the University of Central Florida. His interest in programming started in high school. He enjoys spending time with family and developing video games. Bobby’s main role at Monomer Software is to develop the edge AI applications and ML pipelines of the Canopy Platform.
Dan graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He worked at an engineering consulting firm in the pulp and paper industry before becoming a full-stack software developer. He has a passion for building efficient processes and automating tasks. His hobbies include reading science fiction and mentoring aspiring software developers coming from non-traditional paths.
Nghiem graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Computer Science. He worked in IT and Application Development roles for a few years before joining Monomer Software and the Canopy team. His hobbies include tinkering around with electronics and he enjoys developing applications with Flutter. Fun Fact — Harry and Nghiem are neighbors!
Geoffrey currently attends the University of South Florida and is seeking his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He has been an intern with Monomer Software for over a year and assists with hardware development, prototyping, circuit board design, and camera assembly.
